Sorry, I’ve been moving, so I haven’t had any time to sit down and write. But I’ve been doing it in my head for a couple days – I’ve got some good ones cooking I think. Tentative topics are the move (potentially featuring a fun walkthrough video so I can gloat about my free, nice apartment), affirmations, future market trends in life and love, maybe some light psychoanalyzing of my ex. Who can say, lots of things to write about this week.
Move went well though, I’ll write about that tomorrow night. I’ve got everything out except for cleaning supplies and half of a rowing machine. I have to go clean the old place tomorrow morning and throw away the industrial materials that make up my entertainment center, really looking forward to hauling around cinderblocks and lumber at 8:00 a.m. Umm, besides that, I’ll probably have some friends over to hang all the artwork I haven’t put up. I was also considering doing a little thing where I take a bunch of people to thrift stores and they just pick stuff out for me to buy and decorate with. I blew too much money at Target today buying new sheets and blankets and a shower curtain (the selection was terrible, my bathroom is very lesbian coded, also using my ex’s phone number at checkout did NOT give me a discount so I was sort of annoyed, I’m owed my 5%). The bathroom also has like a million mirrors covering very odd angles – I developed very slight body dysmorphia while brushing my teeth tonight. On the list of things I still need are 1) replacement litter box mats 2) rug 3) lamps 4) speaker 5) shower head. I also need to setup the Roomba to run every day because I am not being an unclean person in this place and I will not deal with cat hair under everything.
That’s all, again, sorry I’ve been away. Promise I’ll write more this week.
